What happens if I forget to water?

Many plants can go 5–6 weeks, especially in cooler spots. Still, we recommend monthly refills for best results.

Will it cause root rot?

Not at all – in fact, Posie Pots are specifically engineered to prevent root rot. Unlike traditional pots where overwatering can lead to stagnant, oxygen-deprived soil, our patented self-watering system operates on the principle of passive capillary action. What if I accidentally add too much water?

Wipe with a damp cloth or rinse gently. You can flush the reservoir every few months if needed.

It works!

"My Posie Pots & 3D Prints experiment continues to PROVE that Kay Wells engineered and perfected her patented technology to ensure a plant's success! These were brought in the exact same size as sisters and Kay planted one in her self watering design and left one. Same lighting, temperature and environment. 2 cups of water once a month. It's almost TOO easy! If you have a premier plant, consider a Posie pot!"

Looks Great and Actually Works

"I never take the time to review products but wanted to post! I'm an avid outdoor gardener and use hydroponic growboxes during warmer weather, so the transition to overwintering edible plants indoors is seamless with hydroponic Posie Pots! I've cracked so many plastic pots over the years, but Posie Pots are so durable that they last a long time.
