Our Mission
We are transforming the traditional streetside planter into large-scale, self-watering urban infrastructure.
UrbanFlow combines patented water-management technology with large-format additive manufacturing, robotics, and digital design—helping cities bring more living greenery into the built environment.
LESS WATERING · LESS LABOR · LESS INFRASTRUCTURE
The Challenge
Traditional streetside planters create a hidden operational challenge. Plants need consistent water, yet many urban locations lack convenient water access. The result can mean watering trucks, crews, recurring maintenance costs, and plants that still struggle to survive.
We approached the problem as engineers.

We are transforming the traditional streetside planter into large-scale, self-watering urban infrastructure. UrbanFlow combines patented water-management technology with large-format additive manufacturing, robotics, and digital design—helping cities bring more living greenery into the built environment.

The Solution
UrbanFlow integrates a high-capacity water reservoir directly into the planter, storing water where plants need it without electricity, pumps, or permanent irrigation infrastructure.
We’re not only reinventing how the planter works, but also how it is manufactured.
Advanced Manufacturing
Using the Modix BIG-60, robotics, CAD, and large-format additive manufacturing, we can turn digital designs into architectural-scale products, rapidly iterating size, geometry, texture, and configuration without conventional tooling for every design.

Our model is simple:
Design digitally.
Manufacture locally.
Customize for the community.
Conserve resources.
Scale globally.

Market Ready
Posie Pots has patented technology, years of R&D, national retail traction, and real-world demand for our new large-format systems, including an approved and paid urban neighborhood planter project in St. Louis.
Our Founder
Founded by mechanical and manufacturing engineer Kay Wells, Posie Pots is evolving from a self-watering planter company into an urban climate-tech platform at the intersection of water conservation, horticulture, robotics, advanced manufacturing, and resilient cities.
