About the class
Led by Kay Wells, an aerospace engineer and founder of Posie Pots, this two-day, in-person masterclass introduces youth ages 12–18 to the exciting world of 3D printing and self-watering design innovation.
Kay brings her background in aerospace prototyping and product engineering to make advanced technology approachable, creative, and fun. Students will not only learn the science behind 3D printing but also experience how design thinking turns everyday ideas into something real — from concept sketch to their first functional print.
Every participant will complete a hands-on project, print their own design, and earn a mini portfolio certificate to showcase their skills and creativity.
